COMMUNITY LIAISONS

To deepen our impact, DACC is selecting liaisons to connect with local organizations that align with our mission. These liaisons serve as bridges between our club and advocacy groups, labor unions, environmental organizations, and other progressive movements. MONITORING

Democracy doesn’t stop at the ballot box. DACC members are monitoring local government meetings, boards, and commissions to track policy decisions that impact our community. By attending meetings, reporting on key developments, and identifying opportunities for action, our monitors help ensure transparency and accountability at all levels of government. START AN ACTION TEAM

A DACC Action Team is a group of members organizing around a specific issue or activity, working together to learn, mobilize, and take meaningful action to strengthen democracy and create change in our community. If you have an idea for a DACC Action Team and want to get it started—whether it's focused on a specific issue like healthcare or labor unions, or an action like organizing protests—fill out this form with your proposed Action Team name, purpose, and activities. Once approved by the DACC board, you'll be able to present your committee opportunity to the full membership at a DACC meeting!

CANDIDATE SUPPORT

We work year-round to support progressive candidates and ballot initiatives that align with Democratic values. This includes voter outreach, educational events, and direct support for endorsed candidates.

VOTER ENGAGEMENT

DACC is committed to increasing voter participation and civic engagement. Through voter registration drives, educational forums, and direct advocacy, we help ensure our community is informed and empowered to make a difference.
